Corneal ring

Corneal chromosphere is one of the clinical manifestations of biliary cirrhosis. Biliary cirrhosis is caused by long-term intrahepatic bile retention or extrahepatic bile duct obstruction. The former is called primary biliary cirrhosis, and the latter is called secondary biliary cirrhosis. 90% of the disease occurs in women, especially in women aged 40 to 60, male: female 1: 8. Early symptoms are only mild fatigue and intermittent pruritus, 1/2 with hepatomegaly, 1/4 with splenomegaly, and elevated serum alkaline phosphatase and γ-GT are often the only positive findings. End-stage manifestations are liver failure, varicose vein rupture, hepatic encephalopathy, ascites, edema with deep jaundice. Jaundice as the first manifestation accounted for 13%, such patients often have hepatosplenomegaly, may have verrucous warts, corneal pigmented rings, palm of the liver, spider moles, sphenoid skin pigmentation spots on the scratch site, the skin becomes coarse and thick thick. Early patients can be treated with drugs, and liver transplantation should be performed at the end stage.
