Damaged gyrus

The angular gyrus syndrome was first reported by Gerstmann in 1924. It includes four symptom groups: finger misidentification, inability to calculate, inability to write, and left-right disorientation. Also known as left angle gyrus syndrome; dominant hemisphere syndrome.
