Scapular muscle atrophy
Scapular muscle atrophy is a symptom and clinical manifestation of progressive proximal muscle atrophy of the extremities. Progressive proximal muscular atrophy of the extremities is often myogenic atrophy, which is obvious in the proximal and trunk muscles of the extremities, and often manifests as atrophy and weakness of the scapular and pelvic girdle muscles. Such as cervical muscle weakness, some patients need to support with their hands to raise their heads. The atrophy of the scapular muscles forms the winged scapula.
