Dorsal scapular nerve entrapment
Dorsal scapular nerve is the nerve from the 5 nerve roots of the neck and the trunk long nerve. Compression of the dorsal scapular nerve manifests as soreness and discomfort in the neck, shoulder, back, axillary, and lateral chest walls. Kevin (1993) reported that dorsal scapular nerve closure can treat neck and shoulder pain. In 1994, Chen Desong reported the disease in detail and proposed a surgical treatment plan with good results.
