Sotos syndrome in children is Cerebral Gigantism, Cerebral Gigantism Syndrome in childhood, also known as Macrocephaly Syndrome, Sotos Syndrome Symptoms are a syndrome in infants and school-age children, where skeletal development grows too fast, the skull is huge, and mental retardation develops. Clinically, the symptoms are markedly increased in physical development in the neonatal period, with long headed giant brain, mental retardation, specific facial features, and abnormal limb morphology.
