Valve thickening
Valve thickening is mainly caused by heart valve disease. Heart valve disease refers to a heart disease in which a heart valve loses the function of a one-way valve due to thickening, deformation, adhesion, calcification and rupture. Heart valve disease can cause stenosis or insufficiency of the heart valve, so that blood cannot flow through or flow backward. Those who cannot flow through the blood are called stenosis, and those who return after the blood flows are called valve insufficiency. The most common are mitral valve disease, followed by aortic valve disease.
