Intraperitoneal transplantation of splenic fragments
When severe spleen injury cannot be retained, intraperitoneal transplantation of splenic fragments should be performed. Precautions for intra-abdominal transplantation of spleen fragments: 1. The site of the spleen tissue transplantation block should be selected in an absolutely healthy and non-injury area, and generally 5 cm away from the trauma site. 2. When removing the spleen capsule and cutting the spleen, the site with good color and texture should be selected and operated under a surgical magnifier. 3. The spleen tissue transplantation block should be made into a prism or polygon, and the size should be about 1cm3 to facilitate implantation, survival and growth after transplantation. 4. Use microsurgical instruments to take materials. Clamping or any contusion is strictly prohibited to ensure the integrity of the spleen tissue. 5. The abdominal cavity is contaminated (such as with perforation and rupture of cavity organs), or pathological spleen is prohibited for transplantation.
