Longitudinal slit pyloroplasty

This kind of surgery is suitable for duodenal ulcers with less severe scars and adhesions in the pylorus, and no need to separate the duodenum. If the anterior wall perforation can be removed together, the posterior wall bleeding can be sutured at the same time. If the scar is widely adhered and the duodenum needs to be separated, it can be used for horseshoe-shaped pyloroplasty (Finney). Generally, at the same time as pyloroplasty, vagotomy is performed first, and then pyloroplasty is performed to avoid contamination of the mediastinum. Only for hemorrhagic patients, pyloroplasty should be performed first, and then vagotomy is performed after ligating the bleeding point.
