Vascular repair

The principle of treatment of major arterial injury is mainly to restore the continuity of arteries. The earlier the injured arteries are repaired, the better, and it is best to perform them within 6-8 hours after the injury. Delays in time will greatly increase the chance of thrombosis or infection in the distal vessel, thereby reducing the possibility of resuming blood flow. But if the distal vessel is not smooth, even if it is longer, even more than 20 hours, the repair operation is still possible.
