Patella osteotomy

The position of the sacrum is superficial, it is more convenient to expose and remove the bone, and the function of the sacrum is less important. It can provide a large amount of cancellous and cortical bone. In addition to the poor hardness of cortical bone and insufficient internal fixation, cancellous bone has excellent osteogenesis and heals faster. The patella can also be taken in various sizes and lengths to meet the special needs of some surgeries. In addition, regardless of the position of the patient, bone grafts can be obtained from the sacrum for transplantation. Therefore, the sacrum is the most commonly used donor site for bone grafting.
