Endogenous chondroma scraping and bone grafting
Solitary endogenous chondroma is a more common tumor, mainly found in long tubular bones and short tubular bones on the limbs. As the tumor grows, the cortex of the affected bone becomes thinner and swells. This condition is more common in the phalanges, metacarpals, or metatarsals. Solitary endogenous chondroma can be transformed into chondrosarcoma, but this malignant change is more common in chondroma in long tubular bones, and rarely in short tubular bones.
