Subfemoral resection
Tumors at the end of the long bone are more common, of which the area near the knee joint is the most common site, or the lower end of the femur, or the upper end of the tibia. When the entire bone end is extensively destroyed, or when there is a malignant tumor, the entire bone end should be removed.
