Ventricular myotomy

Myocardial resection is a treatment for ventricular septal hypertrophy. Postoperative symptoms disappear or are significantly reduced, the systolic pressure difference disappears, and the aortic pressure waveform returns to normal. Echocardiography and selective left ventricular angiography re-examination revealed that the left ventricular cavity was enlarged and the anterior mitral valve leaflet disappeared during systole, but atrial fibrillation remained. About 90% of patients have improved cardiac function to grade 1-2 after surgery.
