Hemipelvic resection
The goal of hemipelvic resection is to completely remove the malignant tumors involved in the upper thigh or pelvis and hip bones, as well as extensive frustrating injuries in these areas. The purpose of rehabilitation for this type of surgery is not yet acceptable to all scholars. Some scholars believe that even if the malignant tumor of the sacrum is removed, it can not improve the three-year or five-year survival rate, so they think that radiotherapy or / and chemotherapy are preferred. However, many scholars believe that the extensive status of surgery has established the status and significance of various treatments other than surgery.
