Joint buckling sign
The patient lies supine on a rigid bed, without pillows, with both lower limbs straight, and his hands placed on his chest. If the affected side of the half-body muscle is low in tension (such as a cerebellar disorder on one side), when sitting up, the ipsilateral lower limb will also be lifted, which is called positive hip joint trunk flexion.
