Inner pull line inspection
The inner pull line inspection is to draw a line between the most prominent point of the ischial tuberosity and the anterior superior spine. This line passes through the apex of the greater trochanter, the inner pull line. If the apex of the greater trochanter is lcm higher than this line, it indicates that the greater trochanter is displaced upward, and it is often used to diagnose posterior joint dislocation or femoral neck fracture.
