Perirenal inflammation
Perinephritis refers to inflammation that occurs in adipose tissue between the renal capsule and the perifacial fascia. If the infection forms an abscess, it is called a perirenal abscess. The most common pathogenic bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Most of them are formed by rupture of renal crests and renal surface abscesses and invade the surrounding tissues of the kidney.
