Serum cobalt
The content of cobalt in adult body is 1.1 ~ 1.5mg. Cobalt is mainly distributed in liver, bone, muscle, gastrointestinal tract, kidney and other tissues, but eventually accumulates in bone. The main excretion route is urine, followed by feces. Cobalt is an important component of vitamin B12. It participates in the metabolism of ribonucleic acid and hematopoietic substances through vitamin B12. It acts on the hematopoietic process and plays an important role in the process of hematopoietic and red blood cell growth.
