Plate belly
Introduction
Introduction Plate-shaped abdomen refers to acute diffuse peritonitis caused by acute gastrointestinal perforation or rupture of organs. The peritoneal is stimulated to cause abdominal muscle spasm, the abdominal wall is often very tight, and even stiff and hard as a wooden board, hence the name. For example, acute gastrointestinal perforation, acute necrotizing pancreatitis, intestinal perforation, acute appendicitis, or organ rupture, and gynecological diseases may occur. In severe cases, it can cause blood pressure drop and systemic toxicity. If it is not treated in time, it can die of toxic shock. Some patients may have pelvic abscess, intestinal abscess, and underarm abscess, axillary abscess, and adhesive intestinal obstruction.

First, we must first carry out a comprehensive abdominal palpation, percussion examination, and at the same time pay attention to gynecological diseases and so on.
Second, it is necessary to carry out basic examinations such as body temperature and blood routine, and carry out tests for bacterial or viral infections.
Diagnosis
Differential diagnosis
Frog-shaped abdomen: A patient who appears in a large amount of ascites, lying there like a frog's belly. The stagnant water pushes the belly to the sides, mainly in patients with cirrhosis and hypoproteinemia.
Boat-shaped abdomen: When the patient is supine, the anterior abdominal wall is diffusely concave. In severe cases, the anterior abdominal wall depression is almost close to the spine, the rib arch, the iliac crest and the pubic symphysis are combined, and the whole abdomen is a boat-like shape, called a boat-like abdomen.
