Low alkaline phosphatase
Introduction
Introduction Alkaline phosphatase (ALP or AKP) is an enzyme that is widely distributed in the liver, bones, intestines, kidneys, and placenta. This enzyme catalyzes the removal of the 5' phosphate group from the nucleic acid molecule, thereby converting the 5'-P terminus of the DNA or RNA fragment to the 5'-OH terminus. But it is not a single enzyme, but a group of isozymes. Alkaline phosphatase may have high symptoms. At the same time, it may also have low symptoms. The reason why alkaline phosphatase is low may be divided into the following categories: 1. Common in severe chronic nephritis, thyroid dysfunction; 2 , malnutrition, stagnation; 3, vitamin C deficiency scurvy, celiac disease, cachexia, anemia; 4, hereditary hypophosphatase.
Cause
Cause
The reasons for the low alkaline phosphatase are the following:
1. The activity of a viral infection is in the normal range or slightly lower.
2, severe chronic nephritis.
3, children with hypothyroidism.
4, anemia.
