Endometritis is inflammation of the endometrium. According to the length of the disease, it can be divided into acute endometritis and chronic endometritis. After endometritis occurs, edema and exudation often occur in the entire uterine cavity. In the acute phase, systemic symptoms can also occur. Fever, chills, increased white blood cells, lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge, sometimes bloody or stench, sometimes slightly larger uterus The uterus has tenderness. Chronic performance is also basically the same, but also may have more menorrhagia, lower abdominal pain and lumbosacral swelling.

The normal uterus position is forward leaning, the palace is slightly forward, and the cervix is downward and backward. After sexual intercourse, semen accumulates in the posterior vaginal canal, so the lower cervix is easy to be immersed in the semen, which helps the sperm to move upstream. However, if the uterus is posteriorly tilted and then flexed, the cervix is in an upturned state and is not easily immersed in semen, affecting conception. Of course, the uterus is too long to bend forward, which is not conducive to pregnancy.
