Intermittent proteinuria
Introduction
Introduction Intermittent proteinuria means that urine protein is more than normal, but not every urine test. Intermittent proteinuria is more common in adolescents with faster growth and development, usually with less stable circulatory system, such as orthostatic hypotension and fingertips. Repeated infection of cystitis, pyelonephritis, there will be urine protein, once the infection is controlled, proteinuria will disappear, and high blood pressure, heart failure and other diseases will appear intermittent urine eggs with the disease. Divided into benign transient proteinuria, functional proteinuria, and upright proteinuria.
Cause
Cause
This type of proteinuria is common in the following three cases: benign transient proteinuria, functional proteinuria, orthostatic proteinuria: recurrent cystitis, pyelonephritis, urine protein, once the infection is controlled, proteinuria Will disappear; and high blood pressure, heart failure and other diseases will appear intermittent urine eggs with the condition.

Urinary system CT examination of urine protein quantitation
After repeated random urine tests, nearly half of the urine protein was positive for any reason (urinary test showed + number). Such patients had normal renal biopsy or mild lesions in glomeruli and interstitial, and the prognosis was good. Urinary protein after several years. Can disappear completely. Only a small number of renal pathological tests have changed IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, and focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. Therefore, some have developed renal insufficiency.
Diagnosis
Differential diagnosis
This type of proteinuria is common in the following three situations:
1, benign temporary proteinuria: often no kidney disease, only occasionally found proteinuria during physical examination, and then quickly disappeared, often no clinical significance, good prognosis.
2, functional proteinuria: refers to increased urine protein without substantial kidney disease. The treatment of functional proteinuria is to find the cause. If there is no kidney disease, the proteinuria often disappears after removing the cause.
Common causes of functional proteinuria: high fever, strenuous exercise, cold, use of norepinephrine, congestive heart failure, severe scoliosis, injection of albumin or plasma protein (spill proteinuria).
3, erect proteinuria: only exist in the upright position, proteinuria disappeared in the supine position called orthostatic proteinuria. Urinary protein excretion generally does not exceed 1.0g/24h, and the prognosis is good.
