Thoracoplasty
Thoracicplasty is a compression therapy that removes part of the ribs by surgery, collapses the affected chest wall, compresses the lungs or closes the residual cavity, and weakens the breathing intensity, thereby promoting the improvement of the lesion. There are two types of thoracoplasty: an extrapleural thoracoplasty that does not enter the thoracic cavity and preserves the parietal pleura; and an intrapleural thoracoplasty that enters the thoracic cavity and cuts or removes the parietal pleura.
