Inferior turbinateplasty is to preserve the inferior turbinate mucosa and reduce the volume of the inferior turbinate to improve nasal ventilation. Treatment of diseases: nasal traumatic nasal bone fracture Indication Inferior turbinate hypertrophy, especially bone hypertrophy. Contraindications Untreated chronic simple rhinitis and allergic rhinitis without hyperplasia and hypertrophy. Preoperative preparation Deviation of the nasal septum should be performed first. Surgical procedure 1.1% to 2% tetracaine + 1% ephedrine cotton sheet under topical anesthesia. 2.2% lidocaine infiltration under the anesthesia of the turbinate mucosa. 3. The lower turbinate is displaced to the midline. 4. Make an L-shaped incision on the lower edge of the inferior turbinate and separate the inferior turbinate mucosal flap. 5. Remove the inferior turbinate and inferior turbinate essence as needed. 6. Reset and fill the fixed mucoperiosteum flap.
