Lateral Nasal Incision Tumor Resection
Nasal incision is suitable for all benign and malignant tumors in the nasal cavity. The surgical field of vision is clear and all nasal wall and nasal septum can be removed. Treatment of diseases: nasal tumors, nasal hemangioma Indication 1. Large benign tumors in the nasal cavity, such as inverted papilloma, fibroids, schwannomas, ethmoid sinus osteoblasts, ethmoid cysts, hemangioma, and nasopharyngeal angiofibroma. 2. Early nasal malignant tumors are confined to the lateral wall of the nasal cavity and the nasal septum. 3. Larger tumors in the ethmoid sinus, sphenoid sinus, and maxillary sinus. The intranasal route cannot be completely resected. 4. Ethmoid sinus lesions or their complications that cannot be completely treated by intranasal ethmoid sinus resection, such as ethmoid sinusitis in intracranial or intraorbital complications. 5. Intranasal ethmoid sinus surgery, no improvement in symptoms or combined with chronic frontal sinusitis. Contraindications 1. When there is an acute infection in the upper respiratory tract. 2. Hypertension, cardiopulmonary dysfunction. Preoperative preparation Antibiotics are routinely used before surgery.
