conjunctival malignant melanoma resection

The primary conjunctival malignant melanoma is rare. Mostly, the conjunctival sputum suddenly increases and becomes malignant, or is formed by the precancerous transformation of acquired melanosis. The malignant rate of conjunctival melanosis is 2 times higher than that of conjunctival hernia. The transformation process is 5 to 10 years, and it is difficult to clinically identify whether it has been transformed. It may also be a cancerous melanosis at first, and it will rapidly grow into melanoma under the influence of certain stimulating factors. In short, malignant changes should be highly suspected when the lesions of conjunctival melanosis are enlarged. Lymph node enlargement is an indication of malignant transformation. Treatment of diseases: malignant melanoma Indication Conjunctival malignant melanoma resection is applicable to: Conjunctival localized carcinoma or melanoma (referred to in the limbus of the cornea, the tumor boundary is clearer). Contraindications 1. A wide range of tumors have invaded the conjunctiva or superficial sclera of the Qianlong. 2. There is evidence that the tumor has metastasized throughout the body and is not suitable for surgery. Preoperative preparation 1. Systematic and local detailed examination, confirming the indications for surgery. 2. Speak to the family and the patient before surgery, the operation may be changed to content removal surgery. Sign the pre-operative signature procedure. Surgical procedure 1. Make a row of electrothermal heat-clearing points around the conjunctival tumor area, coagulate the conjunctiva and superficial scleral vessels. 2. Located in the limbus, the freezing point is arranged in a "U" shape, the tumor is wrapped around it, and both sides reach the healthy limbus. 3. Use a sharp knife to make a conjunctival incision 10 mm outside the "U" shaped freezing point, and remove the tumor and the superficial sclera together in the freezing point range. 4. When the cornea is involved, the affected part is removed from the normal corneal 3 to 4 mm plate layer.
