Trichiasis Electrolysis (Cryosurgery)
A few eyelashes that are not accompanied by obvious eyelid varus are born or messed up. Treating diseases: inversion Indication A few eyelashes that are not accompanied by obvious eyelid varus are born or messed up. Contraindications Preoperative preparation 1. Check the power supply for electrolysis before surgery. Usually use a voltage of 3-6V (normal battery 2 to 4 knots). The current intensity should be 1 to 3 mA. 2. Subcutaneous injection of 2% lidocaine for minimal infiltration anesthesia. 3.75% alcohol disinfects the local rim and surrounding skin. Surgical procedure 1. Pack the positive electrode zinc sheet (or copper sheet) of the electrolyzer with saline wet gauze and apply it to the skin on the cheeks. 2. Insert the electrolysis needle connected to the cathode of the electrolyzer into the hair follicle in the direction of the eyelashes to be electrolyzed to a depth of about 2 mm. 3. Turn on the power to the electrolyzer. The energization time is 20 to 30 seconds. When the small white bubbles appear at the root of the hair follicle, the electrolysis needle can be taken out. 4. When using the freezing method, the freezing head can be placed on the rim of the root of the eyelashes, and the freezing device is activated to the freezing head to appear ice hockey, usually about 30 to 45 seconds. 5. After removing the electrolytic needle (or freezing head), gently pull out the eyelashes with tweezers. complication There are usually no postoperative complications. Repeat treatment for relapsers.
