haze optometry

Fog optometry is a method of relieving the tension of the eye to be examined. Applicable to adolescent patients with ametropia and hyperopia, hyperopic astigmatism, mixed astigmatism. The objective optometry (resection or computer optometry) is used to measure the basic diopter being tested, and the diopter lens is added in front of both eyes. Basic Information Specialist Category: Ophthalmic Examination Category: Other Inspections Applicable gender: whether men and women apply fasting: not fasting Tips: Relax your eyes when checking. Normal value Fog-1.00DS; not fog-1.50DS; the prescription should be -1.00DS, pseudo-approximation is -0.50DS. Clinical significance Abnormal result The fog is excessive. Adult patients with ametropia and hyperopia, hyperopic astigmatism, and mixed astigmatism need to be examined. Precautions Taboo before inspection: strong light. Requirements for inspection: eyes relaxed. Inspection process (1) The objective optometry method (resection or computer optometry) is used to measure the basic diopter to be tested, and the diopter lens is added in front of both eyes. (2) First check the right eye and cover the left eye with black film. (3) On the basis of the basic diopter of the right eye, increase or decrease the degree of spherical mirror to achieve better vision for the right eye. At this time, most of the visual acuity of the eye to be examined can reach 0.8 or more. Then gradually add a positive lens to make the eye fog. Each time +0.25D, until the vision drops to 0.1---0.2, if it is myopia, you can also reduce -0.25D each time until the vision drops to 0.1---0.2. At this point, the right eye is basically foggy. (4) The right eye is covered with black film, and the left eye is fogged in the same way. (5) After the left eye and the right eye complete the monocular fog vision, the eyes are fogged again. The method is to remove the black film, and ask for the eyes to look at the 0.2 visual standard 3 - 10 minutes. (6) If the eye to be examined can gradually distinguish the visual target 0.2 during the fog vision, the lens can be incremented by +0.25D or +0.50D for the eyes, so that the eyes are always in a state of roughly 0.2 visual target. Not suitable for the crowd Inappropriate people: glaucoma patients.
